That is exactly why updates need handling carefully. We back the site up before every update, run them in sequence rather than all at once, and check things still work afterwards. If something does break, the backup gives us a clear route back.
No. We look after WordPress sites built by other agencies and developers too. We usually take a quick look first, to be straight with you about whether the site suits the level of care you are paying for.

Small things: a page edit, a plugin behaving oddly, a form going to the wrong inbox. Thirty minutes a month, and if something turns out to be bigger than that we tell you before we start rather than after.
Monthly plans bill on the 1st, for the month ahead. Your first payment covers the rest of the current month and is pro-rated, so you only pay for the days you get. Annual plans run for a year from the day you start.
